The Studio
The London Daylight Studio is a feature-rich, open-plan, natural-light studio, perfect for photographers, musicians and creative agencies looking for a bright, private and comfortable space to work.
Formerly the work-space of the legendary Spencer Rowell, frequented by Libertines photographer of choice Roger Sargent, fine art specialist Allan Jenkins and portrait aficionado Jake Walters, The London Daylight Studio is within a stones-throw of Konk Recording Studios and has been host to a variety of models, actors and musicians.

The first thing you'll notice on arrival are the black painted exterior walls. Not only does this give the studio a distinctive look, but it also serves as a rather compelling portrait background. The opposite wall is covered in graffiti, which suits an urban feel perfectly.
Definately the most easy going, helpful and forward thinking studio I've used! Bags of space and excellent outdoor options nearby.

The entrance is served by useful ramp, which leads through a uniquely crafted cast-iron double door (another awesome background). The doors open wide enough to allow anything from a small car to cumbersome recording equipment - made all the easier by another useful ramp on the inside.

The internal space is a big 'white-room', approximately 1000 sqft with a ceiling made up entirely of A-frame skylights. On a sunny day, the London Daylight Studio is the sort of place where you need sunglasses inside, as well as outside!
Whether making use of our range of coloramas, gradient portrait backgrounds, lights, reflectors or unique vantage points (you simply MUST take advantage of our raised mezzanine shooting platform), The London Daylight Studio is a fully featured and characteristic venue for your photography or music.
